We Do Marketing ("we", "us") is a product of We Build Apps LLC, a North Dakota limited liability company in the United States. This policy explains what we collect when you use wedomarketing-tech.com and the We Do Marketing app, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email privacy@wedomarketing-tech.com.
The short version
- We collect what we need to build, launch and measure your campaigns, and nothing more.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Your brand kit, content, contacts and results belong to you. You can export or delete them.
- We only use AI providers whose terms don't allow them to train their models on your content.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash), or your sign-in provider's identifier if you use Google sign-in.
- Brand information: website addresses you give us, the public content we read from them (such as logos, colors, fonts, product details and text), and files you upload.
- Campaign content: goals, audiences, briefs, generated copy and visuals, edits and schedules.
- Contacts you upload for email campaigns. For these, you decide what to collect and why; we process them on your behalf and only to send your emails.
- Influencer lists and outreach notes you create.
- Billing details: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Messages you send to support.
Information from connected platforms
If you connect an account such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Ads, Analytics, YouTube), LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest or X, we receive the access you approve: typically your page or account names, the ability to publish or schedule posts you choose, and performance metrics for your own campaigns. Access tokens are encrypted and stored on our servers only. You can disconnect at any time from the app or from the platform's own settings.
We Do Marketing's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data needed to run and secure the service: IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and error logs.
- Essential cookies and similar storage, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your light or dark theme. Our marketing site currently uses no advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics, we'll ask for consent where the law requires it.
How we use information
- To provide the service: read your brand, generate campaign packages, render visuals, schedule and publish what you approve, send your emails and show your results.
- To bill you and enforce plan limits.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To support you and send service messages (such as receipts and security notices). Product news is opt-in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
- To improve the product using aggregated, de-identified usage information.
AI processing
Campaign generation is performed by Cue, our marketing engine, which uses AI models from third-party providers. We send them the information needed for each task (for example, your brand kit and goal) and receive the output. Our providers process this data under agreements that don't allow them to use it to train their models. See AI & subprocessors for the current list. Please review AI-generated content before publishing it.
When we share information
- Service providers who host, process or deliver the service for us under contract (see subprocessors).
- Platforms you tell us to publish to, when you schedule or publish content.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or us.
- Business transfers: if we're involved in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and content within 30 days, and remove it from backups within a further 35 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer (for example, billing records).
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information from your account settings or by emailing privacy@wedomarketing-tech.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights, such as to object to or restrict certain processing. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them. See Data deletion for step-by-step instructions.
Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, your consent (where we ask for it), and legal obligations.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, keep each customer's data separated with row-level access controls, encrypt platform access tokens, limit staff access, and log publishing actions. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
We Do Marketing is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
International processing
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
